Darlin Darlin Freeeeeeeze!!! - Lucky Star Review, Thoughts, and Stuff

So I’ve finished watching Lucky Star, the anime, for like the… 3^rd or 4^th time now and its def one of my favorites! ^_^  If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a “slice of life” anime, which means… that it’s like every day stuff; like, there isn’t much of a serious plot line, and its mostly character based. I really like it because it’s just random and funny. (I forgot which kind of its/it’s I was using just then… xD ) Lucky Star basically follows 4 main high schoolers, Konata, Kagami, Tsukasa, and Miyuki (they’re girls if you were wondering) and their lives throughout their last year and a half ish of high school. There are 24 episodes? And an OVA… Actually I just looked it up and there is a second OVA called Miyakawa-ke no Kūfuku that I have not watched and I shall watch that after this xD

So, like I said, I like it mainly because it’s random and I think it’s really funny and has relatable situations in it. However, it’s based on life in Japan, obv, and so maybe not all people can relate to everything, but it’s still cool to watch. My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing about it though, is the opening song and little choreography that goes with it ^_^ I just love how up beat and crazy it is and I’ve downloaded it for ringtones and alarms xD What else…? (I’m kinda tired while writing this, but I want to do this now anyway, so it’s hard to think fast, but…)

When I watch stuff I always wonder which character I’m most like and which ones are my favs and stuff. I would probably be a mix of Kagami and Konata, but more Kagami than Konata… like 70-30… or maybe 80-20 xD or maybe 75-25. I’m really studious and sarcastic and stuff like Kagami but also really lazy sometimes and easily obsessed with stuff like Konata. Oh! I watched the English DUB version, not the subtitled cause I like to recognize voice actors and stuff. Plus, I’m lazy and I have to pay more attention to subs than dubs, obvs, and so unless I’m really committed I’ll just watch dubs when I can.

Is that it? Overall, I really recommend Lucky Star. I think it’s a great anime to watch when you don’t know what to watch and you don’t want to be stuck to an intense plot line. It just occurred to me that maybe girls would like it more, cause girls are the main characters, but I’m sure dudes like it too. Lets see… I think that’s it.
