Quick-ish Thoughts during Ikemen Desu Ne and Rush Hour

Rush Hour
Ok, real quick, watching the latest ep of rush hour and the bad guys get into the police department and have one dude hostage with a gun pointed to his head and ALL the other cops have their guns pointed at the ONLY bad guy with the gun. Maybe they didn't shoot cause its somehow illegal, but I think, I'd just shoot the one dude withthe gun, in the head, kill him, and no one else could do anythng because none of the other bad guys have a gun!!! And once you been shot, you can't pull a trigger. so DUH!!!
Ok FINALLY!!! They shot the dude!! Geez. I'm pretty sure they only didn't shoot him so that they could have and awesome fight scene. XD
Also, DUDE!!! I so called Kim being a double agent!!! Yeeeeeeeeah bruh!!! XD

Ikemen Desu Ne
So Ren/Taekyoung, he's not supposed to see well at night, or when its dark and stuff. But I'm all, "bro! just get some freaking glasses! even I have to wear glasses when I drive at night and stuff, you aint the only one!" Also... I'm pretty sure there are some scenes when he does drive at night... plot hole! XD but seriously, just get some glasses. -_-
ARG!! Ok, so Ren kisses Mio and Mio is all "omg why did he kiss me? that means he must like me right?" and then Nana comes to see Ren and she asks him, while Mio is standing behind, if he likes Mio, and Ren says "no" and then Mio gets all sad. But its' like gurl! Usually when someone kisses you, on the lips especially, they like you! You can't believe what they say when they are talking to someone who they dont want to know the truth. Like, why would he admit that to that bitch? Like seriously, think Mio. Ugh. She's so dense. -_-
Oh. My. Goodness. Literally... like most of the problems in the series happen because the band's stylist is so fucking stupid. She's the reason Ren found out, then Nana and then why Nana has to go and create drama for no fucking reason other than she's an insecure little girl that wants to see other's lives be worse than hers. Like, omg. Then the stylist has to be dressing Mio up as a girl and setting her up on surprise dates with Shu cause she assumes wrong.
Luckily it seems to end ok... but still! So much nonsense could be avoided!

Mio! Stand Up for Yourself!!! - Omg, Ikemen Desu Ne, of course it couldn't be perfect

First off, erhmagersh, I'm so busy and I have to go to sleep in like... two hours... hopefully I can. I had three coffees and espresso today XD 0_0 but it kept me going. Actually I dunno if it was just placebo, or if caffeine actually does much to me, cause it never has in the past.
Anyway, I wrote these thoughts while watching eps 5 and 6.
-Omg I'm soooo glad that not every one is dumb to Nana and Ren's "relationship" the director dude, could tell pretty much right away when he actually saw them together.
-And I like how Yuki is pretty similar to Nakatsu... like... really, really similar. 0_0
-OK, really funny too! They are shooting a music video for Mio's song... and these dudes! They be playing basketball on the grass!!! What the???
-Ok... continuing this after a long day of work, even though i'm also supposed to be on my way for another thing right now... whoops x"D
-But this beeyotch, Nana... she's a celebrity... I guess. She's supposed to be one of those ones that are famous cause they are pretty and stuff, and I guess she does some acting. But she's a two faced beeyotch and is blackmailing Ren into being her "boyfriend". Anyway, she's at this restaurant, you can't tell me that no one recognizes her! Then, when Ren and Mio leave, she THROWS A GLASS OF WINE AT THE WINDOW! Ummm, I don't care who you are, what right do you have to throw a glass at more glass and just walk away? How is she not getting, like, a vandalism report written up, or at least a tabloid story written up? Like seriously???
-Ok, and at the end of the ep, Nana goes into the boys bathroom and confronts Mio about actually being a girl, and somehow, as skinny as Nana is, she drags Mio out of the bathroom. I'd be all, "Gurl! Get your hands off me, and I am not a girl!" and if she tried to do anything else, she'd get some MAJOR attitude from me and probably a good arm bar or something. Like seriously! Bruh!! I ain't gonna let no one treat me like that! -_-
     - Dang, Mio really needs to stand up for herself. Ren and her are being blackmailed by Nana, all because they think that exposing Mio to be a girl would be the end of the world, and I think they are doing this alllllll wrong. I really appreciate stron female characters, because I am one XD and it just annoys me when people let themselves get bullied. Don't feel bad for yourself! It's the bully that has issues! Anyway, if I could, I'd jump in the screen and tell Mio a few things. 1. Gurl, fight back. Stop being such a push over, literally. A little mean gurl shouldnt hurt you! 2. Ren is also being blackmailed! And you're both going along with the with because you're "taking one for the team" or whatever. Just tell each other and then gang up on Nana! She' supposed to be some perfect fairy celebrity, so show the world her real bitchiness!!! But maybe just get some footage and then use it as leverage XD cause if you actually show people then you loose your leverage and she'll be pissed and she''ll have nothing to loose and just out you. 3. Last but not least!!! The fact that you are soooo worried about "the world" finding out you are actually a girl means you have no fail in your fans to forgive you and all that. If you explain the situation properly, even though its hella dumb to begin with, i'm sure that with time and good deeds, the fans will forgive you for "deceiving them" and you can go back to making music and money. Besides, if they are real fans, they care about the music and the people behind the music, not what gender they are. (Also, side note. I feel like Nana's attack would be a lot more meaningless in America with all out LGBT stuff going on. To accuse someone of crossdressing and "pretending" to be the other gender would be discrimination. Since Nana doesn't know the whole story, and she just thinks that Mio is pretending to be a boy, I feel like in America, this just wouldn't be as big of a deal. Over here it'd probably be, "who cares what gender you are, if you're a good person and you make good music, kudos." But I guess maybe Nana is maybe thinking Mio is "Lying" just to get famous or meet famous people. I dunno. Her side of it isn't fully fleshed out.) But yeah, I'd say those things to her, cause I'm just tired of her being a baby and not standing up for herself.

Random Catch Up Thoughts

     1. OMG the funniest bit in the special features! The dude that plays Beorn in the Hobbit, he's telling this short story of how he went to visit these pack of wolves and how, because he's such a big guy and super confident, how the pack's lead wolf came up to him and was all sniffing his face and licking him and stuff. Then he said that a week later, that same wolf killed one of the trainers. Then the dude behind the camera was all, "And you just went there to do research?" and he was all "No, no, I was there with my kids." XD XD XD He just said it so matter of factly, that he went to the zoo or whatever, with his kids, and made friends with a wolf, and later, that same wolf killed one of its trainers. XD it's a sad story when you think about it, but it was just so funny how he said it!!! XD
     2. So , its getting hotter here, where i live... and I'm not much of a hot weather person. Nope. I personally really love it when its like between 60 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit with a slight breeze and a sunny and blue sky with big puffy white clouds :) that's my fav day. But where I live, it can get up to... like 105 F and its just ugh for me. It had gotten up to like 115 I think , but usually, I'd say, on average in the summer its like 100. You go like 10-20 miles in any direction, though and it can change like another 10 degrees. But yeah. I just... I'm a cool weather person, and I'd rather it be cold than hot because I've always thought that you can always put layers on and warm yourself up while you can only take so many layers off. Oh! Luckily, where I am we don't have high humidity, its' pretty dry, though not dessert dry, so I like that. I've been to areas like the east coast and The Philippines (I'm going there again this summer, oh Dear Lord help me) and I just about die. Cause the cazy thing about humidity is that it will only be like 70 to 85 degrees but the humidity will be like 100 or maybe even just 90 percent, and it turns that moderate temperature into a hot sauna -_- Its not fun, for me at least. Not to mention, poofy hair, ick. But yeah...
     3. I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I've been working and life-ing and stuff and haven't gone on YouTube for a few days, but ERHMAGERD! The Final Trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse!!!!! It was soo good! I'm so excited!!! I like how Quicksilver was all, "Magneto's my dad" and then how Mystique was all "WWWHHHAAAATTT?!?!?" XD So funny! And then at the end when Mystique was all "You've been busy" and Scot was all, "We had help" XD Cause if you've seen the trailer, you know what I mean :P
X-Men is probably my second favorite movie franchise, first is LOTR/The Hobbit, and not far behind is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I've just always liked X-Men and how many superpowers and the diversity there was in the cast :)

Rush Hour (TV Series) - DUDE! I am LOVING IT!!!!

So i just finished watching the latest ep of the Rush Hour TV series and I gotta say, I am REALLY loving it! :D I love the Rush Hour movies, even though I haven't seen them in a while, and I am really glad that they made a TV series out of it! I don't know if it will continue on and have more seasons, but I really hope that it will.
The main thing that I like about it, is the comedy. I think it is so funny and the dynamic of Carter and Lee is so genuinely comical that it just works. My fav character, though, is probably Gerald. He's so funny! I love how he just calls it as he sees it and he's like a big giant teddy bear! His character ain't the smartest, but he's got street smarts and he knows wassup! XD
I also REALLY love how we get another Asian lead character!!!! Like seriously! How many TV shows actually have Asians in lead roles, let alone Asians in any roles. Huh? Honestly off the top of my head, I can only think of Hawaii 5-O (which I also really like *nods in approval*)... though I heard its not renewed for another season? Lemme google dat ish real quick. NAH BRUH!!!! It was renewed for a 7th season! Hallelujah! Praise Jesus! The Lord is good! He is risen indeed, Halleljah! But yeah, I feel like there aren't a lot of Asians on tv and in movies and I'm always like, "what you got against us, huh?" (yes, I'm asian, well half... so it still counts) Anyway, back to Detective Lee, the actor who plays him is actually a stunt dude!!! Which I love because I used to want to be a stuntwoman... although, if the opportunity arose I'd still try it. However, I aint exactly living in prime real estate for that kind of job if you know what I  mean. But yeah, I love how the actor, Jon Foo, does his own stunts and actually does legit stuff. Not no whoosy fight scenes where you can tell that either the actor has had no prior fight/martial arts training and/or you can clearly see their stunt double. The only thing I'd say is that he does a little too much jump-kicking. Doing all the fancy air techniques looks fun and cool, but its not usually the most practical in street fighting and self defense.
But aside from that, I'm loving it!!! And I almost forgot to mention Justin Hires as Carter. He is soooooo friggin hilarious! Like, all the jokes and stuff just roll off his tongue like he'd actually say them. And for all I know, he's adlibbing! But I don't know XD All I know is that its super funny!
SO! If you have not already, and you like action/comedy/cop shows, check out the new Rush Hour TV series (you can watch it live or online on CBS, that's what I do since I cant usually catch it live) because I think you will like it! ^_^ Talk to ya later!!!

Benedict Cumberbatch - I know, I know, I'm just one of many, many, many fans XD

Ok, so im watching The Hobbit behind the scenes again, and its all about building Smaug and its actually really hard to bring my eyes to the keyboard every few seconds because BC, Benedict Cumberbatch, is on screen and Lordy knows I have to watch the screen every second he’s on. So yeah, this post is gonna be… about Benedict Cumberbatch x’D I feel almost… ashamed that I’m about to write this, but really I just wanna say that I appreciate his acting so, so, so, so, so, so, so much. Like so much. I think he’s also very good looking, but he’s married now and has a kid… so… XD But he’s a fascinating subject for me. Let me explain.
I’d heard of BC (I just shorten his name to his initials) probably around 2010 when Sherlock went BOOM! And I’d heard how popular he was and how everyone loved him, but I never really found anything that great about him. I even watched some Sherlock when it was on PBS and I remember thinking “Oh he’s good looking!” But then I’d see him from another angle and think, “Ok… not so much at that angle… XD” And I sort of wrote him off for like 3 years. It wasn’t until 2013 when he was doing a bunch of interviews for Star Trek and stuff, that I was reminded of him again and I remember thinking, “That dude is everywhere! What the heck? He’s not so cool. Whatever.” And I also remember around all this time I was waiting to get a hair trim and I read an article in like… Vanity Fair or Vogue or one of those types of magazines—anyway it was about him and I was like, “Ok, that’s cool. He likes to dance. Whatever.” XD And then, here rolled around my birthday and I saw Star Trek: Into Darkness and for a good 30 min I was enjoying it and stuff and then it came around to that part where the Enterprise team tracks Kahn to the Klingon’s planet and Kahn has that shoot out and sorta saves the team in order to get “captured” and stuff and there is this one point where BC/Kahn actually looks pretty funny and messy with his hair and stuff, when he whips off his hood, and I was just like “OH. MY. GOSH.” Like, it just hit me in slow mo and I was… kinda obsessed from that point on. I walked out of that movie and at the soonest point I could, went to the computer to learn as much about BC as I could. I was quickly reminded that he did Sherlock and I watched the first season in like… a day in between packing for vacation XD I also rented many of his movies and tv show stuff from the library… So… in short, like I said… I became obsessed. There was just something about him and his acting and his genuine love for the craft that showed so wonderfully in his work, (not to mention, I thought he was very good looking) that I really gravitated towards (me and everyone else on the planet).
I had never (and never have been since) been “obsessed” with another celebrity person like BC, other than my other favorite celebrity, Kim Heechul from Super Junior, and for me, this was a big deal. I was a major Heechul fan, like major, major, major, and I’ll probably talk about him later XD The fact that this dude, who came outta no where when I had already written him off—to do that and impress me so much was just, astounding to me and I was intrigued for so long. My favorite role of his is, probably like most people, Sherlock. Sherlock is absolutely wonderful and I love how… in the end, he’s a big kid. (Note: I’ve never read the Arthur Conan Doyle stories… but I have seen all the behind the scenes of the Sherlock series and I know a lot about the stories from which the TV originated XD) Sherlock reminds me a bit of myself, in some ways to… though I aint nearly as smart, though I’d love to be. But his… personality and stuff. However, he is quite extreme and I’d think that most people, even people who can relate to Sherlock, are not as extreme. (Also, I’m sorry if my thoughts seem a little disjointed, I’m still watching special features and therefore, a bit distracted) But yeah, I really like Sherlock and BC’s connection with Martin Freeman’s portrayal of John Watson. I also really like Smaug and just how… deep and guttural and evil, I guess, his voice is. I really like those sinister voices that are really low and you can imagine a wolf playing with their prey or something—or a dragon, rather XD (Side note: I really love Crispin Freeman, too, and all the anime voices he does. He’s my fav voice actor!) And of course, Kahn holds a special place in my heart XD      What else do I like him in? Oh! I saw War Horse because of him and when I saw it I was like, “Oh hey! It’s Loki! What you doing here?” XD And I liked him in Amazing Grace, a movie about abolishing slavery in England, way before America did, because he was laughing and having fun in part and I hadn’t seen that acting side of him at the time. 12 Years a Slave was also really good, that movie as a whole was really very impacting. I’ve seen more things of him, as well as a slew (slough?)  of interviews and behind of the scenes of him and I was very, very, in the world of BC for a good year. A year, probably doesn’t sound like a lot, but lets just say I had another epiphany about something around a year later, where… I didn’t need to be as “obsessed” about him as I had been. I’ll probably talk about it all sometime, but I’m still new to this blog thing and I don’t want to get too personal yet. XP
So yeah, there was a lot in here, and yet not a lot. I still really admire BC and all his acting roles and he seems like a really great person too. Id love to meet him one day and just say, “Thanks, and look forward to what you do next”. Real quick… as embarrassing as this is so admit to who knows who will be reading this… but I used to imagine randomly meeting him like on location for a movie shoot or just in everyday life or something XD Obviously, that’s not gonna happen, but it’s be cool! I promised myself that I won’t freak out if I ever met him, though. He’s still just a person, a regular guy and if I were famous I’d just want people to treat me like any other person, you know? But yeah, long post on how awesome BC is and that—OMG! I am really excited to see Dr. Strange!!!!! Marvel plus BC is going to be so cool!!!!! I have high hopes! Then again, even if it somehow isn’t amazing, I bet I’ll still be just as happy just to watch him act and do what he loves ^_^

Ikemen Desu Ne- The Japanese/Better/Funnier version of You're Beautiful (So far anyway)

I wrote this as I watched the eps, and I don’t know where I’ll be when this gets published, because I’mm try to set the time and date and stuff, but let me just preface it all, but saying that I like Ikemen Desu Ne, SOOOOO much better than “You’re Beautiful”. Like, so much. Just, so much more.
Ok, so I just started the first ep of the Japanese version of You’re Beautiful and its called Ikemen Desu Ne, and already it just seems better! Like I’ve only watched like 2 min and it seems better. The main thing being, this girl doesn’t run like an idiot, unlike the other one.  And it lays the plot a lot better than the Korean version.  I like the main girl better, so far, but so far I like the Korean guys better. But that’s probably because I’m more familiar with them. And let me just say I LOVE the manager dude XD He’s so funny!!!
I think I’m on episode 2 of the Japanese version and dang. It takes the story from the Korean, but somehow… just does it better and more to the point, ya know?  OH MY GOSH!!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! The director of the company just screamed out HOLY SHIT! XD and it was just the funniest thing. He had like no accent either. It was perfect! XD Maybe this isn’t the 2nd ep… it might just be a really long 1st ep, but so far I think that the Japanese version is putting more meaning behind the character’s and giving them real motivations. The Korean version is pretty shallow and is just about getting the characters to fall in love, but the Japanese version seems to actually have heart to it and have a bigger picture it wants to display. Its gonna be hard finishing the other one -_-
I must be terrible XD because these “deeply dramatic and emotional” scenes keep popping up but I think they are just so hilarious XD But then again, these types of forced drama things usually go this way XD Especially when they are so obviously trying to make two characters fall in love. Although, I must say, the Japanese version is doing a much better job at making the story more to the point and just moving on while still being relatively poignant. I really do like this one so much better. Though I feel like one may not be able to appreciate how much better this one is, without watching the Korean first. It’d still be good, but you wouldn’t have that reference point XD
OMG! The funniest character is the director of the company! He’s very eccentric and uses a lot of English phrases, but he’s so out there and he makes great facial expressions—he’s just great! I love character actors and character acting, because they’re just so different from people in real life. And when I find “characters” in real life, I just think its so cool! Cause’ a bit of one XD
I find that I'm not writing as much about the Japanese one because I don't have as much to complain about and so I'm enjoying it more and just not wanting to stop and write as often. So... that good! I think some more "real" drama is about to start, which I probably won't appreciate, but so far, so much better! :)

Lots of Thoughts on "You're Beautiful" Eps 1-5

If this doesn't' seem to make sense... well that's ok x"D I just had to get it out at the time, cause I thought I was gonna go crazy.
First of all, if it were me… and I actually went through with the whole “pose as my brother” bit, I’d do my best to not First of look like a girl! That’s my main problem with most of these gender bending shows: its so obvious that these “guys” are actually “girls”. (Although, now a days, one could probably get away with it because of all the LGBT stuff. You’d have to take their word for what they identify as. ) But that’s not what I’m talking about. Like I said in my ep 1 commentary, I’d do everything I could so seriously look like a dude: loose weight, put on muscle, walk like a dude, talk like a dude (which I pretty much already do), never do anything cute, or anything that makes me look weak (vulnerability, for relateablity with the fans, but not weak), and make get some fake facial hair XD Then again, Asians don’t really do facial hair, especially when they’re younger. But still, it’d help, ya know. And honestly, just acting like an actual dude, would have saved this girl from sooooo many problems! (Granted… I’m still at ep 2 when I’m writing this part… but still… so much has already happened.) And I know she was raised by nuns and stuff, so maybe she doesn’t know how guys are, but I’d study up! I wouldn’t do this gig half- way, ya know. Plus, I’d think it would be so cool, like an undercover spy :D I can hear the Mission Impossible theme playing now!!
Ok, episode 3, this gurl be up on top of a truck… (don’t get me started) and she gets f-ing stuck up there cause the driver is such a dumb-a that he can’t see her in plain f-ing sight *angry emoji* and so she up on the f-ing truck and screaming at the dude who is running behind the truck (how fast is this truck going??)  to save her… *sigh* First of all, I wouldn’t have gotten into the situation in the first place, and second, I’m a freaking  ninja. I’d have been off the truck in half a second. But even if I did get stuck up there, I’d have not done what she did. She jumped off like she was gonna pencil dive into a swimming pool. -_- So not parkour worthy. And the dude, somehow would catch her? Are you serious? What kinda dumb ish is that? Not realistic at all… *sigh* I just… I just… it’s a major pet peeve when things are dumb for the sake of it.
Ok, at the end of ep 3, gurl be searching for a ring in the water… first of all… dumb-a… anyway, the dude actually had the ring, he never threw it in and he reveals this. If I had been searching all day and all night and most of the morning for a ring, in the cold  water I’d be HELLA F-ING PISSED at the dude. However, I don’t know exactly what I’d do, but I’d do something quite terrible to him. At the very least I’d force him to give me food and take me out and ish. Like Holy crap!!! Omg, lets see what she does. … … … … She…hugged…him… *giant exasperated sigh* And then later in the ep, she has to change clothes and they’re all, “change in the mens locker room”, and she’s all freaking out, but its like, “Just change in a freaking stall! Mens rooms have stall too, so say you need to take a s—t and just change in the stall! I’m debating on whether or not this is actually evening out… the dumb parts are really annoying -_- Speaking of which, another one directly follows it… *sigh*
Its Ep 4 now and I feel like the funny is about to happy more and more often. Im hoping and praying anyway!!!! >_< Ok, there is a funny bit now… but still… so not realistic -_-  I’m a regular sleeper, and when I was young I used to sleep through earthquakes, but now I wake up for a lot f things and… man, if someone moves me as much as main dude moved the girl, I’d totally wake up *sigh*. I just keep telling myself “its for the funnies; its for the funnies”. Oh great… more stupidness…  Like seriously, this girl, has nooooo common sense and I want to slap her. Oh. My. Goodness. Not to mention she is so obviously a girl AAARRRGGGG. And She pretty much only thinks of herself. She’s all “I might leave the band soon because I’ll find my mother”. WTF? First of all, you started because you were filling in for your brother, you’re gonna mess up his opportunities if you leave, because you are him. And second, how selfish is it to become famous for a few weeks, just to find your long lost mother, and then quit? Are you even serious? I’m--- I can’t – UGH! Now… I’m literally laughing at how the end, its supposed to be sad or whatever, but I’m busting up XD
Episode 5 here and the girl goes to the bathroom in this fancy pants restaurant cause she spilt juice on her wig -_- and she sees the dude in the bathroom having an allergic reaction to one piece of shrimp he happened to eat -_- Don’t people with allergies know what their allergy looks like? Anyway, dude runs away (why??) and girl chases after him but leaves the other band member that really likes her at the restaurant. And later she calls other guy on a pay phone (who still has a pay phone anymore?) and all she says is “I’m sorry, Shinwoo. Taekyoung is sick and I have to be with him.” -_- Clearly he’s going to misunderstand that! I would have quickly explained the situation like, “Yo! I went to the bathroom to wash the wig and Taekyoung was there! And I was like WOAH! What you doing at the same restaurant? What a koinkidink? But then he ran out and I wanted to make sure he was ok, cause he didn’t look to hot, so I followed him and how he’s stopped and I found a pay phone, cause I forgot my phone, and luckily I even found a pay phone, let alone remembered your number and yeah. Wanna come help? We’re at this location.” Like seriously? Just… ugh -_-  Currently another annoying thing happening… and I’m trying to… just let it pass… let it pass…

Another thing, Hopefully its Quick x"D

Still talking episode 2. The "fans".. *sigh* the fans... I have a feeling that the reaction and then protesting of the fans is not that exaggerated from what happens in real life in Korea. Korea loves their friggin idols, to friggin death and its... a problem, honestly (I'll probably talk about this more than once). The ones that cause the most trouble, or one might argue, all the trouble (I dunno, I don't live in Korea so I dont have first hand experiences) are the Sasaeng Fans. And, in reality, they aren't fans so much as stalkers. You can google stuff for more info. But basically, the "fans" are making a big fuss about a rumored situation from online and I hate to say it, but this does happen in real life there and I think its ridiculous. It's annoying in the show, but even more incredulous that this ish happens in real life, and I really feel sorry for the kpop "idols" that have to deal with this. People who dont even know them and don't know the whole situation are making a big fuss and protesting and its... just sad really, because unfortunately, lives and careers get destroyed. Some make it back from "scandals" and other don't. There are a few, though, who I think bad things did happen and yet the fans are too obsessed to see that he/she did anything wrong. That's taking the fanaticism to the other side, and it's also sad.
Ugh, ok, the rambling is done and basically, I think a lot of people, in the show, and in real life, just need to calm the falafel down and focus their attention and effort into things that can actually make the world a better place.

-_-

I'm just gonna say really quick, that if I make a commentary on all the episodes of You're Beautiful... I thin k I would perpetuate my own... dislike of certain events that happen in the drama. I'm 15 min in the 2nd ep... and I'm already face palming so hard that... it would pain me to relive my feeling by writing it all out... So, I'll probably just do a review at the end and see how it all is because if I complained about everything I didn't like, that wouldn't benefit anyone XD However I might do a segment I've thought about doing for a while called "If it were me" in which I put myself in a show or movie or book, whatever, and see how things might have played out if I were the character. But I'll do that at the end I think... maybe... maybe in the middle... But yeah. For now, just know that... so far this drama is half painful (in a "nooooo why are you doing that???" sense, and half actually good/funny.

You're Beautiful Ep. 1 (Korean)- Commentary/Thoughts

Ok so I just started the Korean drama, “You’re Beautiful” and I’ve seen k-dramas and I know there is a lot… that they just do in order to make stuff happen. But only like two minutes in and there is unnecessary stuff -_- like seriously? This doesn’t happen in real life and if I could fault Asian dramas for one thing, it would be unnecessary drama. I know it’s a “drama” but still, I just… ugh. I hate when coincidental things happen that literally never happen in real life just to create drama and hate and spite or all that stuff. Anyway… I know there will be a lot in here, im prepared… sorta… but I just hope that there is enough genuinely funny things to help balance out how annoyed I know I’ll get.
I do see a glimmer of hope! HongKi’s character, cause he looks like he’s gonna be the kinda dumb and funny one XD but we’ll see eh?
Omg, ok, I’m a really observant person and I notice people, and I make it a point to notice people where ever I go. Safety, yo. And so it really irks me when a character is all alone or whatever and someone, who is literally in plain sight is watching them and that character doesn’t know about it. Like seriously, that’s how bad things happen, when you don’t pay attention -_-  But, I mean, in general, I just see things, ya know and its annoying when characters don’t for the sake of story or a camera shot or something.
I do like how the girl kicked the random dude in the nuts, I’d do that XD However, then she does something dumb by going with the random guy (she didn’t even for proof of credentials or anything!!!) just because he knows her brother. WTF? Stranger Danger!!!! (Also… I’m trying really hard not to use… language… cause… yeah, I want this to be relatively clean and all x’D) Like, how does she know her “brother” (Its just her  dressed as a guy -_-) and what trouble is he in exactly? He doesn’t say, maybe its coming up, but this is just… bad story telling.
And next… Sasaeng Fans… I’m pretty sure that’s what they are if they’ve been there for three days. Ai ya yay.  And then she’s so struck by the guys’ beauty that she stands still. I do love how Hongki is the funny one though ^_^
And of course… She looks like a girl… still with short hair… Ugh. It also bothers me when the character cross dress, for like legit “real” and they still look like either a girl or a boy. Like, aint no one gonna believe that! I like how they brought it up, but still -_- Just saying, but if I had to go like undercover as a guy or something (well, I’m not tall enough, for one, though I am taller than some) I’d get a trainer and stuff, a team behind me, to give me an exercise regimen that made me look like a guy as much as possible and a diet regimen and then a wig and makeup team and just—it’d be a lot of planning, basically. More like She’s the Man and White Chicks than… other things, basically.  Also… Jang Guen Suk is skinnier than I thought he was…
And of course… she “sings” like a girl. I don’t know if she’s actually singing, or someone did it for her, but I hate when it sounds prerecorded, as most things are, but still… *sigh* And I guess she’s good… but not that good, like… I don’t really care for the high, airy voices. I like stronger, more resonate ones that are clear and well more David Phelps-y, or Josh Groban-y, or heck, Beyonce-y XD
Ok… this “Reverend Mother” said “I didn’t ask what God’s will was, I asked what you want”. WTF??? I don’t think there is a real nun who would say that! Life ain’t about “what we want”, its about finding God’s will for us and spreading His love and his Word. I mean, I sorta get what the lady is saying, but I think the script writers are a bit dumb… on second thought, a lot dumb. There is a lot of dumb stuff that happens in these shows -_- But I agree that since this girl was raised in the convent (I guess… that’s what she said, but I dunno if kids actually get raised at convents…) and all she has known are nuns and religious life, that she might think that God’s will was for her to be a nun and the nun realizes that maybe that’s not God’s will for her—I just think it was worded all wrong in order to somehow sound “profound”. Like “oh, follow your heart”. No, that’s not how it works, you follow God because he knows what’s best and how our lives can be the happiest.  I think what we “want” can help us into figuring things out, that our interests help guide us, but I don’t we should “follow what we want” because what we want always changes and stuff and we think we know what’s best, but we really don’t. Anyway, yeah, one sentence turns into a whole page. But it was on my mind and I had to say something. OMG!!! I play it again and the nun says “no one can be sure of His will”… What the actual falafel!?!?! What’s the point of saying you’re a Christian and all that if you aren’t sure of His will and his plan, not only for salvation, but for your life?!?!? OMG, this is irritating me. A real nun would not say this and you can tell this is so scripted and shizznaps. What’s an easy angry emoji to type?
Ok, clearly there is a lot I have to say, and its only been 30 min… so… if some big comes up that I do or don’t like, I’ll say it, but I’ll try to refrain since this is so long xD Then again, with me, long is what you get.
Darn it, I actually have a lot to say >_< but I’m trying not to make this longer. Ok, I can’t do it. Omg, if someone drops their ticket, jut go back to the desk and the desk will call out for the person on the PA system, don’t go looking for them! Ugh, there, not too long.
Ok, back again, like 5 min later, but Why is it that these people that dramatically cut their hair to look like a boy think that they can do a better job than a professional??? Just get it done! You don’t have to tell them why. And then, even though these characters “cut their own hair” it’s perfect.  -_- Yeah right. Ugh. One thing I like better about American TV shows is that they are usually… more realistic. And you’re probably thinking, why do you watch Asian stuff if you complain so much? Well, usually the good outweighs the bad… usually… and I like how the Asian ones aren’t all about sex and stuff. Cause you cant deny that sex and violence and other graphic things are prevalent on western shows, and I don’t really like that.
Ok, I have to admit, that bidet part, was pretty freaking hilarious and I laughed so hard!!! See, this is why I usually like these shows, they also do the funniest  funny things and it helps to alleviate the… other parts… But yeah, great scene!! :D Also, her being drunk was pretty funny, though heavily exaggerated.  So over all… I’d say it ended better than it started and I’ll keep watching. Its not amazing, but the funny parts towards the end, were quite funny, however the parts I didn’t like… well, I’m just glad they were at the beginning .
