Omg, I'm soooo busy now! I keep meaning to post, but I literally barely have any time. School started for me... this may or may not be my... 11th semester at community college... 0_o ... But I'm taking 14 units of welding this semester! >_< I'm in school from 7:30am to 4:00 pm ... Oh My Gosh! And then after that I take a shower and commute to another city I'll be vague about so that I can attend another class and or teach (have I mentioned I do martial arts... I forget) and the drive is like an hour long because of rush hour(s) traffic and I don't get done till like 9:30 and back to sleep till like 11:00... And on the weekends I have work and other volunteer stuff. Oh My Gosh. Pray for me until December!!!!!! Anyway, 8 hours isn't even freaking possible for me -_- And I'm one of those people that doesn't do well on less than that. Especially if I can't even have a nap. So yeah... I'm gonna be drinking a lot of coffee for the next few months. I've been liking those cold brew coffee concentrates. I got one from Grocery Outlet and one from Trader Joes. Then I add some non dairy creamer (I've been using the Silk Soymilk one) and or some sugar and some kind of nut milk. Have I said that I'm non dairy? It aggrivates my eczema and my acne... so yeah. Lucky me. Plus my stomach doesn't always take well to it either. Although cooked desserts are usually fine. I dunno why. And sometimes I'll indulge in ice cream... and then pay for it later x"D Can anyone relate? Anyway, enough of "oh woe is me". I'll live ^_^
Lately I've noticed more and more people differentiating between Christian and Catholic, and as someone that was raised with one parent who is Lutheran (Missouri Synod) and one who is Catholic (Roman, not like Eastern Orthodox or anything... for clarification), I've always known that CATHOLICS ARE CHRISTIANS!!!!!!!! And I have had to explain that to soooooo many people! But it sort of occurred to me that with a lot of Christian churches being non-denomenational, that I guess they are sort of just saying they are all around "Christian" and stuff. But, what I don't know is if they realize that just because Catholicism has a different name, doesn't mean they are Christian... Ya know. Catholics are Christian. They believe in the triune God and that Jesus came to earth a human, the Word made Flesh, and that because of our sin, He (God himself) sacrificed His own blood to pay our debts. We believe the same stuff! Well, the same basics anyway. Once it gets into the specifics and Mary and the Saints, then they get really specific and they define everything and they have a lot of verbage (my teacher says that "word" a lot XD) I can get more into it if anyone wants me to, but basically I just wanna say that in case you ever thought differently, Roman Catholics are Christians! And so are Lutherans XD Christianity is just the giant umbrella and for better or worse there are braches/denominations where people who have little differences (some bigger than others) can get together and be with like-minded. Assuming they even know what all those difference differences are. By the way, I think its a good idea to know a bit about all the different denominations (or at least the major ones). Other religions too. (Another religion would be a different set of core beliefs like Islam, Buddhism, Mormonism, Shinto, Hinduism, Sikhism etc). Yeah... a short post, more of an FYI plus a life update... but yeah. Hopefully I'll have something more interesting to report on later XD
