One thing that I've been more... sensitive to, after watching a lot of special features and behind the scenes of how movies are made is (other than CG XD) ADR. And if you don't know what ADR is "automated Dialogue replacement" and its the dubbing that actors have to do after the movie is all shot to replace dialogue that wasn't clear on the actual day of shooting. And for me, ADR is really obvious now XD its usually louder than the rest of the dialogue and has less atmospheric sounds and it just sounds kinda fake. And I'm watching this and like half of it is really obvious ADR and I don't know why XD And in this same movie... I've also become highly aware of bad acting XD I mean, its not terrible, but its just not subtle and realistic enough, ya know. Plus the dialogue, the script isn't amazing either.
Does anyone else hate picking up their dogs poop? Ok, I don't usually do it XD but its still annoying and gross. But what I was thinking was that, if cats can be toilet trained, which I've heard they can be, why can't we have floor toilets for dogs? 0_o In houses! Or even outside XD But basically, just have one area where the animals go and its contained and simple and not messy! Wouldn't that be great!!!! I think it would XD And if say just potty train a dog too, but I don't think most dogs are as agile ans mobile the way a cat is and the way it would have to be to use a human toilet.
On a more serious note... I hate revenge. I think its dumb and its pointless and all it does it perpetuate hurt and pain. I sort of forgot why I thought this... I wrote it down after watching something, probably Babylon 5 XD But, its just doesn't make sense to me why people take revenge. Don't they understand that if the cycle of revenge just keeps going on the pain and hurt will only exponentially increase? What good does it do to hurt someone who has hurt you, even worse than they hurt you. Because I've heard that before. I think we all have, at least in movies, and its like, "No, that's not good and its not going to help the problem. Its not going to make the pain go away." From a Christian point of view you should forgive because its the right thing to do and the only thing that will heal the pain is time and forgiveness and God. From a logical point of view, it just makes sense not to be the exact same thing that you already hate. Even from a logical point of view you can tell that revenge is a waste of time and effort and emotion. It would be so much better to channel all that feeling into something that will be beneficial to others, maybe even to stop what happened from happening again. Anyway, I just think revenge is stupid and you're stupid for perpetuating it, if you are doing so. Stop.
Kids are funny XD I was volunteering my time today at a preschool and some of these kids are just down right hilarious XD Although, probably not in the way they think they are. I find it funny when kids cry over the little things, because one day they will grow up and realize that that thing they were making such a fuss at and crying over was not a big thing at all XD I dunno, that just makes me laugh. It also makes me laugh when they talk really passionately about something, but they aren't making sense and you can only pick out a word or two and you're just like "uh huh, sure" XD Again, it sorta makes me think what I was like as a kid and how adults thought what I did was funny. Though, I was a pretty quiet kid I think. But yeah, kids are funny and on another note, I think teachers should get paid waaaaay more than they do and administration should get paid less. Like come on, the teachers are in charge of your children for like half of their lives until age 18. Those teachers have such a burden on them to do right by your kids and to be a good example and help to set them straight for life. Of course, parents are the first ones, but then next its teachers. And usually I find that the "bosses" don't know what its like to do the grunt work and expect certain things when they just can't be done. And that's for all jobs, really, it seems.
Annnyyyywwwwaaaaayyyy, just a few thoughts on stuff. Oh! I've seen Beauty and the Beast twice now and I really like it, but I find myself speaking in an English accent a lot XD That happens to me whenever I watch almost anything British for more than an hour XD

In the Buisness of "Freaking Out"
So, its been a busy... week. Full of stuff that I've not wanted to do but had to and things that others have had to do but didn't want to. To be vague XD And, well, I guess its just me, or very few, that don't totally freak out when things go wrong. Now, I'm a pretty quiet person in general and so its always... bothered me, when people make a bunch of noise when they freak out, for good and bad stuff. Like, I dunno. I've never been one to scream out of joy or fright or to just make loud noises in general. I admit, I'll probably swear x"D But I try not to make a big fuss. Actually, the quieter I am, the more serious the problem is. The more I make a fuss, the more its probably not an actual problem and I'm trying it hype it for some reason. XD Thankfully, I'm also a person that doesn't get angry easy. Then again... I'm also sort of a person that doesn't get super happy very easy either. Most of the time I'm just at a normal, all around carefree and calm but still happy normal kind of thing XD But, most everyone I know really freaks out when "shit hits the fan" XD And... I dunno, its just, kinda wierd to me. I'm more of a "ok, quick, asses the situation and think of a solution and enact the solution" type person. I like action. I try not to just stand there wondering what to do and stuff. I try to always be calm and just do what it logical, or try to get someone else to be like that. I've had to be the one to step in when someone else was more in the freaking out side, too. And it just made me think, that, besides selfish worrying like "am I gonna have enough money to buy that next expensive thing I want" or "when am I gonna get a boyfriend and get married" or whatever, I've never been one to worry too much about... well life in general I suppose. I guess I've just always had it in the back of my mind that God is looking out for me and if I pray and listen to him and obey, everything will turn out well. So I guess that translates to me being the cool-headed person that is more logical than others. Yeah...
I guess this post isn't that long. But I just wanted to mention that and say "don't freak out" XD Think about things in the grand scheme and don't worry about the big things or the little things, because as long as you're doing your best to walk in His Word, then everything will turn out fine. It may not always seem fine, like when your bathroom is flooded or you have a... stubborn family member, but it will be eventually, because if you have faith in Jesus one day stuff like this will only be a memory and we will live eternally in perfect union with God :)

The Shack Review and Thoughts
Yup, that's right, I saw The Shack. I should probably italicize that... The Shack XD And I admit, when I first heard about it and saw the trailer I was very skeptical, but then I watched a few reviews from Christians that haven't led me astray yet XD And I decided to give it a chance since I knew my mom wanted to see it. And, I have to admit, I really liked it. I thought it did a really good job of giving good analogies to the relationship between God, the Trinity, and all of us, His children.
The most important thing, I think, this movie does is show how much God loves us and that he wants what is best for us and that He is working for our good in the middle of all the evil. My favorite analogy was when Wisdom questions Mac about judgement and she tells him to choose between his two children, to send one to heaven and one to hell. Obviously, Mac could not choose and so he asked for himself to be sacrificed instead. And I think that was so beautifully done to show that God doesn't want to "damn us all to hell". God wants to redeem all of us and to have loving relationships with us, and in order to do that, He sacrificed His son, He sacrificed himself in order to save us all. Now, of course, we then have to choose and believe and trust in God after that, but He still did all that because He loves us unconditionally.
I really liked many other parts about this movie and I would highly recommend to check it out if its still playing near you, or at least to see it when it comes out on home video or streaming or however you kids get your movies now a days. I do not, however, condone pirating. That I do not like. If you want it free, get it from the library. Sure, you have to wait a little while, but at least you'll learn a little patience. Anyway, yeah. There was only one thing I wasn't totally on board with and that was the part where Mac gets to talk with his father for a bit. That bit with the colors and stuff, I don't really see a basis in scripture for that. I don't think it would not be in God's power to let someone have a brief conversation with a dead relative, I just thought it was assuming a little too much about God and stuff. I also think it was mainly used as a plot device in order for Mac to get some resolution with his father so that he could continue on with his journey. So I get why it was done, I just hope that no one takes that bit as seriously as the other bits. And I'll admit that at first when Wisdom popped up I was all "uuhhhh, did they just slip up?" but that part did end up making sense and being a good analogy, like I said before.
So yeah, I liked this movie and I think its an important reminder that God loves us all and wish for us to be with Him when the time comes.

Beauty and the Beast Review
I saw Beauty and the Beast today! (Well I'm posting this tomorrow... so I saw it yesterdayXP)
:D And I'm def gonna say that it was very good! I really, really liked it and I liked the new songs they put in and how they fixed the biggest plot holes in the animated movie. The costumes were gorgeous, though, not quite as gorgeous as Cinderella, in my opinion, but still beautiful and stunning! My fav one was Belle's last dress. The floral print is something I'd want to wear if it were cut at the knees XD And right now I have the songs stuck in my head XD
Now... as for performances I really like everyone... except... Belle... I know, I know. But its not that I didn't like Emma Watson as Belle, I did, but I felt like some of her facial expressions were a little blah to me and that in a cast full of very well seasoned actors and actresses, she was almost drowned out for me. But honestly I still really liked her, and I'd say that as the movie went on I liked her more and more. But, it just wasn't as good as I think the others were.
I thought Kevin Kline as Maurice and Ewan McGregor were the best, and a close third and fourth were Josh Gad as Le Fou and Luke Evans as Gaston. I know there was a big hubbub over Le Fou being "openly gay", but honestly, its not that obvious. Not once does anyone mention him being gay, its only seen in his actions. And honestly, I love myself a sassy gay character XD And this version of Le Fou was very funny and I thought he was done rather well. Luke Evan as Gaston was very, very, good too. I was especially amazed at his singing! He has a great voice! And Kevin Kline as Maurice, I liked because I didn't find Maurice a total idiot. Kline really grounded the character and even dealt some really funny lines XD Ewan McGregor I really liked because I feel like he sort of help it all together. And I just really like how optimistic he always was. :) Oh, I was also like "Wow" at Audra McDonald as Garderobe! She has a great voice! Although in looking her up I see where I've seen her before XD
If you watch the movie, and you're a fan of the animated, and are aware of the various plot holes that have come up over the years, I think you'll be glad at the way they are handled in the live action. I think this version really makes a lot more sense and more backstory are added to both Belle and the Prince, and I really liked that.
What else...? I know some people don't like all the CG, but honestly, I thought it was fine. I thought it was at least on par with more movies today and the Beast was just as good as Gollum in The Hobbit. I, however, do not think it was up to the new Planet of the Apes franchise. Those apes look LEGIT! Those apes look legitly REAL! And this movie is very good, but there's still technically room for improvement.
Ummmmm... what else...? I really want to see it again to see if I notice more things. I also saw Logan two weeks ago and forgot to write about that. If I see it again, I shall! But, I think that's about it for now. Overall, I really enjoyed Beauty and the Beast and if you want to, I say go ahead and check it out :)

More Thoughts on K-pop
I just watched the debut music video for Pristin, the new girl group at Pledis, famous for After School, Son Dambi, and now Seventeen, and I admit that I like it. The song is called "Wee Woo" and its catchy and has a cute dance and most the member get a pretty good moment to shine. But honestly, the first thing I thought about it all was that I could have sworn that this was a collab group because almost every member looks like a girl in another group that is already out there. I mean, I know Korea is a very homogenous country and culture, but the more I see of kpop, for the most part, only certain types of faces get admitted into these groups. After a while, everyone starts to look the same. And, I don't mean this in a rude way like "Oh my gosh, all Asians look the same", because they don't. But, Korea in particular has such a.. small window that is their "standard of beauty" and if you keep to that, everyone is gonna look the same! Now, as you invest time into each group and get to see the member for their "true" selves they begin to differentiate and its easier to tell them apart in their group and from group to group, but when you first look at them you can only think of the person they look like. And... really, I'm not making an opinions on this, just saying. I know that over time I'll be able to tell them all apart and stuff. Well... that may not be true. I bet I won't learn names. I used to be super obsessed and learn all the groups and members, but I stopped that in like 2013. There are way too many now. Smaller groups I can do and groups that I really, really like, but I know that now, I won't be memorizing people left and right.
The other thing I wanted to say that stems from this new girl group, is my personal theory about when companies debut large membered groups. Really, I think anything over 4 is unnecessary. Well, 5 is ok, but once you start getting into 6 people or more in a group the only reason why that company debuted that many people is because they got a bunch of trainees that they want to "get rid of". And I don't mean get rid of in a bad sense, but more that after the company got some recognition with their inition investments, like After School for Pledis, they got a lot more people auditioning for their company and a lot more trainees to put through the system. I'm sure its "easier" and cheaper to debut one 12 membered group rather than three 4 membered groups or even two 6 membered groups. And these entertainment companies are all about the money. They want pretty faces who can at least kinda sin and dance together to start making them money. Its harsh, but I bet its true. So yeah, that's also the next thing I think of when I see a kpop group with a lot of people.
Also, off topic, but I'm gonna try to post more because I feel like I haven't been pushing myself enough I want to post more... so yeah! I think I'm gonna try a different layout possible too. because the scrolling layout isn't my favorite.

25 Random Facts
I thought that I'd done this already, so I had to check my previous posts to make sure. Although, I do sometimes name my posts different than what they are exactly about... But I'm still pretty sure I haven't done this.
1. I like dark chocolate. I used to be an all around chocolate lover, but now I realize that dark chocolate is better for you and its best to get organic and just all around minimally processed and something with the least amount of ingredients.
2. I like hard rock and heavy metal. My dad is really into heavy metal and hard rock and so i grew up listening to it and I like it XD The more electric guitar the better!
3. I also like classical and some oldies. My mom is a big oldies person. Like Nat King Cole and Johnny Mathis and The Carpenters and stuff like that. I like the older oldies XD But once it gets into the 80's 90's I don't like the weird synths they got.
4. I like to dance. Mostly kpop dances and more specifically the hip-hop, street inspired dances. I'm not a fan of interpretive dance. I don't mind straight up ballet and ballroom, but its not my fav. I like the tutting and popping and locking and the more modern forms of dance XD But, I rarely show off my skillz XP
5. I hate cooking but I don't mind baking. You're probably wondering what the difference is XD But, as far as cooking goes I hate how you gotta cut stuff and use ten different pans and simmer this and fry that and ugh. I like throwing all my ingredients in one bowl and mixing it and sticking it in the oven XD That being said. I'm trying to eat better, and since prepared meals that are better for you are more expensive, I'm trying to cook more. That way I can control the ingredients and stuff.
6. I'm an only child. Yup. XD That's about it. I also, literally can't even imagine what its like to have a blood sibling. Like... its just weird to me.
7. Seven is one of my fav numbers. Along with three and twelve and twenty-four, and basically any good Biblical number XD I also like multiples of all those numbers like how twenty-one is three times seven.
8. I like trivia and just knowing things. I have a really good memory, especially for things I like, and I would rock at Bible trivia in Sunday School XD I also like taking tests of trivia stuff, especially for Lord of the Rings and other books and movies I like XD
9. I like taking personality quizzes. I'm probably not the only one XD Although I do hate when the quiz is too obvious and you can skew your answers to get what you want. I also hate when I don't agree with any of the options. But its just fun to take them and see what Harry Potter house I'd be sorted in and stuff like that XD
10. Speaking of Harry Potter Houses, last time I took it I was in Hufflepuff and I forgot the Ilvermorny one... but it was the similar one to Hufflepuff. Pudwudgy? I forget. But yeah, it was because I kept choosing the answers for healers or something. But i mean, value life and would choose to save people if I could, so yeah. I don't see the stigma with Hufflepuff. I think its just because they weren't as prominent in the books and movies except for Cedric and now Eddie Redmayne XD
11. Vibrant pastels are my fav colors. Like... I really like pastels, but sometimes pastels are too light, ya know. So I like the more saturated and more vibrant pastels. Not neon, but vibrant and strong.
12. My favorite set of colors is blue. I like the most shades of blue compared to the other main colors. I also like blue-greens. I used to say that my fav color was Cerulean, a type of blue, but its just easier to say blue XD Or aqua or sky blue or something XD I was emptying some food coloring yesterday and I saved the blue for last because it was the most beautiful! :D I really like blue and all its variants. Though, I do like the lighter shades of blue a lot better than the darker ones.
13. I also really like rainbows and other displays of equal color distribution. I can't decide if I like a rainbow on a black background or a white background though. But I just really like when the colors are evenly distributed. Even if its three colors, I like them even XD
14. I currently have a pretty terrible sleep schedule XD Right now i go sleep around 1 or 2 or 3 in the morning and get up between 9 and 11 am. Of course I get up earlier for church and other obligations, but if I ain't got nothing going on, that about what it is XD Although, except for the fact that most other people and businesses are not on the same schedule, its my fav. I like being awake later and waking up later. But, I admit, when I do wake up earlier I have more time and more sunlight which I like.
15. I like sunlight but not heat. Well, of course I like heat, but I like when its sunny with blue skies and fluffy white clouds and its like 50 to 60 degrees (Fahrenheit). I like the temperature to be fairly cool but it to be sunny weather wise.
16. I don't know how to drive a manual car. Like I don't know how to drive stick yet, but I want to! My dad wants me to know because his car is manual and its a cool car, and I want to learn because I feel like all the cool cars are still manual.
17. I don't like straight up coffee. I like coffee drinks with cream and sugar and chocolate or caramel... but not straight up coffee XD My fav thing right now is the Califia Almond milk Coffee stuff you can get at the grocery store. I like the mocha flavor.
18. I looooove fruits! I love apples, peaches, strawberries, cherries, mangoes, mangosteen... Everything! :D I really like fruits and I'm pretty sure its my favorite food group. I just get lazy about having to cut or peel certain fruits, so I don't eat as much as I want to. Plus, they can get expensive 0_o Especially out of season fruits. I think my favorite fruit is... a MANGO! :D I think. I like them when they are tart ^_^ My fav fruits are tart ones.
19. I've been to several countries. I've been to the Philippines, Canada, England, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. I've also driven through Liechtenstein and... probably something else in that area. I've also been to Puerto Rico.
20. I want to travel more. I want to go to South Korea, Japan, The Middle East and the Holy Land, and Romania. Korea, cause duh, Kpop and Korean food and culture. Japan for the culture and food and anime XD The Middle East and the Holy Land for Biblical context and Romania for Transylvania/vampires XD
20.5 Holy crap its hard to come up with all these facts! (It's at this point I decided to split this topic in two and make 2- 25 fact posts XD)
21. My favorite body parts to work out are my arms XD I just really like having toned arms. I have this pull up bar thing in my room and I've been trying to do about 10-15 various pullups every day (I don't always do it every day though x"D) and my arms have been looking good :P
22. I really love working out but I am super lazy if I don't have someone or something kicking me into gear. I've recently found this out. I'll start off really jazzed about working out at home, but in about a month it just goes down hill. I need a gym, or someone to work out with. Or some sort of buddy goal at least... Its boring to go it alone :( But I still keep a little up with martial arts twice a week and pullups and stuff at home. I also have a semi-broken elliptical, but I never really feel like I get a good workout on that.
23. I love to sing in the car and when I'm generally alone. I'll also occasionally sing with friends and family my age. But for some reason I can't sing in front of my parents or like... older people XD I don't think I have the best voice, but I think I can carry certain ranges and tunes. I have good breath control but it doesn't always sound good XD I think my best song is "I'll make a man out of you" fom Mulan XD I have a similar range as Donny Osman, except for his high notes, I can't quite reach them. But the lower stuff, I can match pretty well... I think XD I think I don't do a terrible Karen Carpenter too. I have a lower voice in general, so those songs are easier for me XD
24. I don't watch, like, any tv shows right now. Well... except Sherlock, but that was only for 3 weeks. I used to keep up with several shows like Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Once Upon a Time, Sleepy Hollow, Supergirl... etc. I like stuff with a supernatural edge XD But, I used to live with my grandpa during the school week when I was a full time student and he only had one tv, which he used and I wasn't able to keep up with my shows. And streaming online would overheat my computer and crash it.. so I just eventually stopped watching TV shows XD Now, if I watch stuff, I get the whole season from the library and just watch it all at once. I've been watching Babylon 5, from like 20 years ago XD And after I'm done I'm gonna watch Smallville, and then Stargate SG-1. I own all of those, so that's easy. I might go back and watch Once Upon a Time again, though, because I really did like that show and I watched like 10 min of Sunday's ep and it sorta had my interest again. So... I'll let you know about that XD
25. I've been really thinking about how to be a gentler person lately. I'm a pretty... hard core person, or rather I can be, and I used to be a lot more than I am now... But the more I think about it and really pay attention to the Bible... I realize that its just better to be an overall more gentle person. Now gentle doesn't mean letting people walk over you and not being confident and stuff, but it means, to me, not getting angry and outraged when things that you don't like happen. And lately... lets just say I've been experiencing people doing just that. Getting overly worked up at situations and I'm realizing I don't want to be like that. I want to approach inconvenient and "bad" situations with calm and peace and just an attitude that says "no matter what happens to me in this life, God is in control and it truly will all work out". And I realize that, in the past, even recently I've been the... not calm one with certain other situations and I want to change that. I just want to be calm all around and take the gentle route. Because no one likes shouting. No one. Its kinda fun when you are right and you get to do the shouting, but it does no good for the person you're shouting at, even if you are correct. It just... doesn't help. So, yeah. I want to be a more gentle person and try to... instill it more in others. Pray for me! XD Pray for me to be more gentle and to influence those around me.
SO! That's 25 facts about me! It literally has taken me like 5 times of editing this thing to come up with 25 facts. I started out doing the 50 facts... but I was like NAH BRUH! So later I'll do 25 more XD I'll start working on it now ^_^
More of My Favorite YouTube Channels
1. Simon and Martina/EYK (Eat Your Kimchi)
Another channel that I've been following consistently ever since I subscribed to them is Simon and Martina. They are couple that currently lives in Japan and vlogs about food and culture and all dat stuff. They've been living in Japan for a little over a year and before that they lived in South Korea for 8 years! They started out as English teachers over there and then segued into YT full time. They've got tons of videos up on their 4 channels so check them out :) They are literally one of my all time favs of YT. They have such cute but crazy but awkward but still normal personalities and they really try to focus on the positive and happy side of life. They really keep a child's like perspective about the world around them, while applying truly adult insights to things and always keeping a level head about things. Martina is especially amazing because she has a genetic disorder called EDS where her joints and stuff easily dislocate because her collagen doesn't work properly in her body, basically, and because of that she has chronic pain all the time. But you so can't tell in their videos and they really just look in the bright side of life and they hope to bring some joy into your life as well. :)
2. Cody & Lexy
Is this the couple version of YTers I like? Cause here is another couple, Cody and Lexy Johns. Cody used to do Vine, if he sounds familiar, and now he and his lovely wife Lexy make vlogs every week about lots of topics. They are super sweet and being Christians is the biggest part of their lives and they aren't ashamed of it :) They are both really funny and they have a lot of great stories to tell XD A lot of their fans say they look like Troy and Gabriella from High School Musical... I guess XD I dunno, I never watched that, but they are super cute together ^_^
3. Savannah Lewie
This is a newer pick for me, but I've been watching all of her videos, starting with her very first one and just trekking along for... maybe a week or two? Yeah, like a week and a half or so. I really like Savannah. She's younger than me, but she has a very good head on her shoulders XD She's a Christian vlogger and that is her whole goal. To make videos bout Faith and to help her viewers grow in theirs and share her story and what God has done and is doing for her :) I really recommend checking her out! She's also a young, married person and she does many videos with her husband, Braden. He's cool too XD
4. makeupTIA
I am not a girly girl XD But I do still watch some "beauty vloggers". I like Ashley because... she just seems like a cool older sister or friend that knows her style and recommends you great quality beauty and skin care products. She has a really soothing voice and its just nice to be at her channel. She's also married XD Maybe this will be the "married list". But her husband doesn't appear in her videos... Though I think he's in a vlog or two. But she's super cute and love planner videos and skin care and makeup and fashion hauls. I mostly like her skin care videos because she like to try the high quality green beauty products that I'm interested in, but she also tries a bunch of stuff from Sephora and Ulta and all them. Check her out :)
5. meejmuse
Meejmuse's real name is Jen XD and she is an Aussie-Korean. She is Korean but she was born and raised in Australia (I believe) but has recently... ok maybe like two years ago... she moved to South Korea. She's also married XD and he husband, William aka grumpy oppa, is hilarious! Like, he is so funny! Just watch her "Husband does my voiceover" video, he is sooooo super funny! XD He's also super funny in the videos where he does her makeup and, well, every video he's in XD They are also Christians and have made several videos more faithbased, even though her channel is focused primarily on Korean skin care and beauty. She also does check out other Asian brands like SKII, but since she lives in Korea, she mainly focuses on Korean stuff. She's super chill and cute, though and she has such cute pets! She has a pet bird :O Named Scarlet, and she talks! Its really quite fascinating. I've never know anyone that has actually owned a bird. But, check Jen out! She's so cute and if you're interested in Korea at all, she can help you out ;)

Idols
I've been thinking about doing a post about this for a while, and I was watching an old video of funniest Supernatural moment, ya know, from the TV show, and I remembered how... well... how obsessed I used to be with that show and how absolutely cute I though Sam and Dean were and how... almost disappointed I was when I learned that Jared and Jensen got married x"D Geez. And I'm reminded of the many people and things (mostly people... mostly good looking dudes) that I literally used to obsess over. (Btdubbs: This is a LONG post.)
I've always like boys, duh XD The first kid I thought was cute was this one kid in first grade. I'm not gonna name names XD And basically, every year I liked a boy in my class or close to it XD I rarely admitted it though. I liked to admire from afar, and or... be really competitive with them XD I was always athletic and wanted to be the best at all playground activities. Anyway, I feel like liking boys who you know isn't that bad, because, well, there is good possibility of actually entering into a relationship with them down the line, because they are physically close to you. I also remember, though my first "celeb" crush XD Well, I think he was my first one, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were more earlier... Actually now that I think of it, I'm sure I liked others on TV shows and stuff, I watched a lot of Sci-Fi and Fantasy. Anyway! For the purposes of this post I'll zero in on Frodo, aka Elijah Wood as my first celeb crush because I saw Fellowship in theaters and he was just so cute! XD I also really like Legolas aka Orlando Bloom, but Frodo was first XP
For a while, other than Orlando, cause he's the one that stuck, especially after Pirates, I don't remember really being obsessed with a celeb until 7th grade or so when I was introduced to Tokio Hotel and Bill Kaulitz. Now I did like kids in my classes in the mean time, but Bill was like no other XD And I sometimes forget that I really liked him at the time, and this was when I started using the internet more, so of course, stalking people could become a bigger reality. I think one reason I wasn't as obsessed before Bill was because I didn't use the internet much because it was, dun dun dun DIAL UP! XD And if you remember that... it was veeeerrrryyyyy slow. You didn't bother watching videos of music videos on Dial Up. Nope!So yeah, I was pretty obsessed with Bill for about two years? Definitely at least until freshman year of high school.
Oh, I also will mention that I was that kid that thought cartoon characters were good looking XD Like... Prince Eric from Little Mermaid and various anime characters like Alex Row from Last Exile and Lelouch from Code Geass among others XD So... I had various anime crushes all during this time XP
After Bill came the big one, Heechul of Super Junior. I think I stopped liking Bill because of Heechul... although it wasn't until the SM Concert in 2010 that I went head over heels XD I had gotten into kpop late 2009 after watching some f(x) and Super Junior videos, but I didn't really know what all was going on. Slowly through f(x) I was introduced to 2NE1 and SNSD and Kara and Taeyang and then BigBang and so on and so forth. I remember I had watched Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry" early on and I had seen Heechul and thought he was the weird Asian with the weird long hair XD Little did I know that 6 months later he'd be my "ultimate bias" for like three years. So I went to the SM concert with my best friend and Heechul really stood out to me. Mainly cause he fake made out with Henry and stuff, although I did know him before the concert cause I thought he was cute with platinum blonde hair in "No Other". After that concert I just went into a full on Kpop craze and a Heechul craze and I watched everything that Super Junior did and that Heechul did. I watched his dramas, I watched his variety shows, I listened to his radio broadcasts etc. I was the most obsessed I'd been with anyone, ever. And it didn't stop me that I didn't know Korean and it didn't look like I was visiting Korea any time soon. But I started learning Korean because of him and getting into Korean culture because of him. And that lasted for three years, no joke. three years until I saw Star Trek Into Darkness and you can read about that in my Benedict Cumberbatch post XD
Long story short...er... I was very into a person I didn't know and didn't know me for a long time... though good things did come out of that whole experience. I thought to myself that since I thought Heechul was such a great guy (despite being a proclaimed atheist...) that I should become a better person to be a person that he'd like. Ya know? And not that I wasn't confident or trying to change myself for a boy, but back in high school I wasn't the best all around person. I had a bit of a... darker side back then, not that many people knew, but I knew and I had an epiphany one night and actually broke down crying because I realized how... sinful I was and how could I expect someone else to like me if I wasn't a good person. Yeah... x"D So, from then on, I slowly began to change and be a slightly better person. God was really working in me XD
As I just said, though, Heechul wasn't the last, there was then BC and I just transferred my obsession to BC from Heechul cause i figured "hey, he at least speaks English already" XD Back then I literally had a pride complex about me too, that thought I deserved to "be with someone who was famous" and all that... because... well... Just because. I was... ugh. Not the best version of me yet, but better than I had been in many respects. Thankfully, my obsession with BC didn't last as long as Heechul and I got over him the next year after realizing (from an experience with a boy... that lets just say, nothing happened, but I got fanciful for a sec) that I didn't need to be with a famous person. A normal, regular, non-famous person was just as good for me and as interesting as a famous person. (I remember now, I thought that I was more interesting than "regular" people and literally thought I was meant to be with someone famous because they were interesting like me. Trust me, I'm rolling my eyes at it too.) Yeah... so that was real, but a boy did knock me out of it and I had another epiphany and I... really backed down from my stupid pedestal.
This was all... like three years ago now and I was slowly being healed by the Holy Spirit, but I wasn't there yet, and little did I know that I'd meet someone else to really teach me a lesson. And... since I still know this person and I said that I won't talk about other people on here, I won't go into detail. Maybe one day XD But, overall, what it led me to figure out is that I was placing such a high priority on wanting to be in a relationship. I made it an idol in my life. Sure, I'd pray and ask for God's will to be done, but it still consumed me. Being "obsessed" with someone, especially someone you don't even know is not a good thing. I can tell you that. After watching a few Christian YTers like Chasegodtv and Girl Defined and Jeff Bethke, I really realized how bad my obsession with wanting to be in a relationship was and that sleuthing for clues from God about who "the one" was gonna be is not the same as trusting God and letting him do His own thing. And I admit that I still have a problem with wanting to know God's plan for me... but on such an extreme level that I literally try to Sherlock the shit out of the simplest things.
So! If you're looking for a moral in this super long post I'd say, to people, boys and girls, "don't let yourself get carried away dreaming about people who don't even know you exist." It seems like a common sense thing, but when I read the comments on any BTS music video, I can tell that there are a lot of girls that need to hear that -_- Those girls are too obsessed and its not a good thing. There are way too obsessed boys too, just go to a TWICE video -_- And I say that not to get your hopes dashed, but just think about the probability, especially if you don't even speak the same language as that person. And even if you do, and you don't run in the same circles as that person, the odds are just against you. Look for people who are nearer to you and focus on having the same morals and values. But don't look too hard, even at the people close to you, because that will either just leave you dejected all the time cause you aren't making progress, or you'll read too much into simple situations and it'll be awks and possibly heart breaking later.
If you're looking for something to take away from all of this, I say to truly and completely give your life to God. Don't pretend to or only give Him most of your life, but all of it. He's got such a great plan for you and its not going to happen any faster with you trying to sleuth it out. God is a good, good, father and if you rely on Him and do what right in His eyes and follow His commands, then it will all work out and it'll be amazing. And trust me, I'm making all this fancy talk, not just for you, random reader, but for me as well. I need to be reminded that God has something amazing in store for me and its gonna happen when it happens. That doesn't mean to sit on your butt all day and just wait, but it doesn't mean to try find the present your parents hid and open them before Christmas because you can't wait, either. Keep the faith and keep the trust and be the person you want to marry and pursue your vocation. And if you don't know what that is yet (like me XD) keep trying different things and just keep going forward, cause ain't nothing gonna happen if you're standing still.
Well! This is super long and I hope it made sense because I actually wrote it over several days XD But I hope it helps someone some time and... Well, God Bless and toodles ^_^
