Questions No One Asks (Tag? no one tagged me, but it seems like one of thoset things)

So, I found this little quiz/tag thing that Forty -Two (cubed) did and I liked it, so I thought I'd do it myself ^_^ Hope you get to know me a little more through these random questions. And I like these structured things, so I'll probably do more :)

1. What is your favorite candle scent?
- I love vanilla! Or the ones that say stuff like sugar cookie or frosting. I like the really sugary ones, but honestly I think they are all just vanilla based.

2. How old do you think you’ll be when you get married?
- To be honest, I never thought of a specific age I’d be… but I sorta thought I’d marry young in general. But, I haven’t XD I don’t even have a boyfriend. But marrying later in life seems to sort of run in the family, I just hope I can sort of break that trend XD

3. Can you do the splits?
- Actually, yes I can! I can do the middle ones, I call them Chinese, and I can to both front splits. The middle one is the easiest for me though, I guess my inside thigh muscles are the most loose XD

4. How old were you when you learned to ride a bike?
- Funny story XD I tried learning when I was like… 5 or 6 or 7 but I crashed one day so I “quit”. But then I wanted a scooter but my parents told me that I had to learn how to ride a bike before I got a scooter, even though I knew a scooter was waaaay easier. So, I learned how to ride a bike and I got one for Christmas… but I honestly don’t remember how old I was… but I’mma guess 7 or 8, maybe even 9? I felt like I was old.

5. How many countries have you been to?
- Canada, England, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, The Philippines. I think I also drove through other countries in Europe, but I didn’t do anything in them, so I don’t think that counts. I’ve also been to Puerto Rico and various USA states.

6. What was your fav TV show as a child?
- Hmmm, it depends what child age you’re talking about, but I think my fav from my whole childhood was X-Men: Evolution. I also liked Digimon and Pokemon and other animes. I also liked Arthur and Clifford and Sesame Street and Telletubies and stuff.

7. Have you read Harry Potter, Hunger Games or Twilight?
- I’ve read all the Harry Potter books and the Hunger Games. I have not read Twlight nor seen any of the movies. I think I did well in sparing myself from them. I really liked Harry Potter though and Hunger Games… was ok, the 2nd was my fav, but I only read them after I knew a movie was coming out. Actually, I also only read all the HP books before the last two movies came out XD But I want to go back and reread them now that FBAWTFT is coming out : )

8. Are your grandparents still married?
- I’d assume so… if they were still alive… I have one grandpa still alive. I never met the other gpa, he died before my parents were married, and I knew both my gma’s but they died too. But, their marriages were going strong and they weren’t the type to just give up on a God created institution. XD They were tough cookies.

9. Do you know who Kermit the Frog is?
- Yup! I was never a huge Muppets fan, but one of my fav Christmas movies is the Muppets version of A Christmas Carol.

10. What language, besides your native tongue, would you like to be fluent in?
- Probably Korean. Cause I like dem Korean boys and I want to talk to em XD But I also wouldn’t mind French of Japanese of one of the Chinese ones. I also would like to be fluent in some obscure language that not many people know XD

11. Grey? Or Gray?
- Ummm… Usually I do “grey”. It just seems… not as classy to use the “a”.

12. Do you know triplets?
- Uh… not that I’m aware… Twins run in the family, but no triplets that I know of. And I’ve never met any… or at least none that I care to commit to memory.

13. Titanic or the Notebook?
- Uh… I’ve never seen either XD

14. Have you ever had Indian food?
- Yup!! I haven’t had everything, but what I’ve had has been good. A little on the spicy side though XD

15. What is the name of your fav restaurant?
- Uh… Well, it’s not really a restaurant but I like Panera. Its closer to fast food. But its healthy fast food XD And they have everything! Well, everything I like: soup, sandwiches, coffee drinks and cookies! :D

16. What would your parents have named you if you were the opposite gender?
- I have no idea.  I’ve never asked, or I just don’t remember XD

17. Do you have a nickname?
- Sorta. I have a few, but none that people consistently call me by. My family tends to just shorten my name though.

18. Who is your fav person in the world?
- Can I say Jesus? XD  Eh, I don’t have a favorite person. I have people I like more than others, but, not one that really stands out above the rest and is waaaay better or more my favorite.

19. Can you whistle?
- Nope. Tried, but after my teeth came in and I lost the gap between my two front ones, I can’t whistle XD

20. DO you sleep with a nightlight?
- I used to, but not anymore.

21. Do you eat breakfast every morning?
- YES!!! Or at least 99% of the time! I love breakfast and I look forward to it every night XD I wake up hungry XD

22. DO you take any pills or meds?
- Getting personal eh? But yes, I’ve got some hereditary things passed down to me. Lovely.

23. Where do you buy your jeans?
- Where ever they fit and aren’t too expensive. I’ve gotten them from Costco, Macys, JC Penny, Ross, Marshalls, etc, but always on sale! More like clearance, I pretty much don’t get clothes unless they are like 15 bucks or less and on super clearance.

24. Do you remember your dreams in the morning?
- Sometimes. I def don’t remember most, but the ones that I do are… weird. Like honestly, when I compare my dreams with my friends, my dreams are on another level. I wish I could remember them better so that I could write stories out of them. But a lot of them are scary and/or deal with scary feelings and stuff. But they really don’t effect me when I wake up, unless they were super great. Cause yesterday I was dreaming that I was finding all these clothes that I wanted to try on… and my alarm woke me up before I got to try them on -_- But that’s a very mild dream for me. Mine are seriously all so weird and always shifting and changing but not at the same time? Yeah, weird dreams, but I love them : )

25. What flavor of tea do you enjoy?
- I’m not much a tea person, but I was into it for  a while cause one of my friends LOVES tea. And so does my uncle… he LOVES TEA LIKE SO MUCH XD And now he’s getting into beers and other alcohols and stuff XD But… If I have a choice I just go for green tea.

26. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
- Uhhh… Two tennis shoes, one Converse that are legitly at least 8 years old, two old snow boots, one steel toes boots, one “fashionable” boots, three pairs of black heels, work shoes, and three pairs of flip flops… I think that’s it. I might have missed one…  So al together that’s, like 14 or 15. XD When I put it that way, it seems like I have a lot XD But it doesn’t seem like it.

27. What religion will you raise your kids in?
- Christianity! Preferable Missouri Synod Lutheran XD but I guess that depends on the husband. Honestly though, if there are any single Lutheran guys out there, hit me up XD I don’t mind Catholic (cause my mom is) or the other denominations as long as we got the same core beliefs and stuff : ) And heck, if you’re not even Christian but you’re not opposed to marrying one and possibly being converted, I’m for that too XD The more family in Christ the better! :D

28. Rural or Burbs? (I’m getting tired of typing XD)
- Uh… Probably the burbs. But I like where I live, or at least the type of city I live in. We’re close to the big cities, within an hour, but we’re not out in the middle of no where. We got all the chain stores and eating places as well as great local and small business stuff, and the traffic isn’t terrible. Well, it is on the freeway during rush hour, but over all its not as bad as I’ve heard, and experienced in the big cities.
29. Oh wait… that was the last one XD

Barbie Movies!! : D Yes, I said it

Well I just finished Barbie: Spy Squad XD And I don’t exactly remember if I’ve mentioned my love of Barbie movies on here XD But, I like them. And all my friends and family who know are pretty dumbfounded about how its even possible that I like these movies, especially because I also like vampires and werewolves and action movies and sci-fi and all that. So… I can see how its odd, but I dunno I like them. One its Barbie and its all about fashion and girl power XD And two, usually the stories are pretty nice. Well, in kid movies anyway, they are out to teach a lesson, not to scar your eyes with a whole medley of things I don’t want to see. But, I just love the fun that they are, even if I can find so many things wrong with them too… Like… they are not realistic at all. At all! But… its animated, so its to be expected. But in the beginning Barbie movies followed fairy tails like The Nutcracker, Rupunzel, The Princess and the Pauper, Swan Lake, The 12 Dancing Princesses  and stuff like that. But later they got into the fairy and mermaid realm and had a slew of those movies and lately they’ve been trying to branch out a bit with Spy Squad and the one where she’s a superhero. And they also did another musical one, Rockin Royals that actually had very good songs in it : )

My fav movies are Island Princess, Princess and the Pauper, Fairy Secret, Mermaidia, and I really enjoyed Rockin Royals actually. I’m probably missing one… XD but honestly they’ve all been at least decent. My favorite voice is Kelly Sheridan though, she’s done most of the movies but then they got another girl when they changed animation styles and then they went back to her and now they’ve got a third girl, but I like her voice. I also really like Kate Higgins in Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse, which was a webseries… but they stopped that as far as I can tell. : ( it was really good though.

The one thing that I always do when I watch Barbie movies, is try to figure out what my favorite outfit is XD In Spy Squad I like Teresa’s spy outfit, but then I like Renee’s other stuff. I’m more partial to blue anyway though. And I don’t really like to wear pink, but Barbie always has nice stuff in pink ^_^ I’m trying to think if I have a favorite outfit from all the movies… I really like when she’s a fairy or a mermaid cause those get colorful. And I like when she’s in ball gowns and stuff. I’d say that the 2nd generation movies, the ones that deal mostly with fairy tails, have the best gowns for Barbie. Especially Rupunzel and Swan Lake has a nice one : )

Oh! Animation style! The animation style has def changed over the years, the 2nd generation ones, my favs over all, have a pretty similar style. Its hard to describe… but it’s a style where things are pretty but the people are very stiff and background characters are very generic and you can tell they only put effort into Barbie or her friends if she has any. Then later they went to a more 3d ish concept but it took up until like… a few years ago for them to get it to actually look good. That, paired with a new voice actress was pretty jarring at first. Now it looks good, but I still miss the old ones.

Can I talk any more about Barbie movies…? Uh, probably XD but I’m just gonna leave it at this, so Toodles! ^_^

I Was Originally Gonna Write One Thing, but Then I Wrote This

A couple days ago I started a post titled "Not a "Nice" Girl" in reference to me and how I've been finding more Christian YTbers and how all the girls I watch are just really nice. Like, so super nice and I couldn't help but look at myself and just think "wow, I am not that nice". Like, its true, I've never been been that person that just exudes niceness. I think. XD Maybe other people think I'm nice but, that's where I decided to change this post a bit.
I don't think I'm particularly a "nice girl". However, as I was viewing the people that I work with this week, I sorta came to realize that I'm probably "nicer" than I think I am. Or at least, I'm not as "not nice" as other people I know. And I'm not like trying to complain about other people now, I guess I was just thinking worse of myself from the beginning when I should have realized the awesome things about me too.
I brought this whole "not a nice girl" concept up to one of my guy friends and he said that I was "thoughtful". And I took that in for a moment and came to realize that "thoughtful" is a pretty nice thing. And I agree, I am thoughtful XD Way to keep my ego out of it. But, I really try to take my time to think about what I can do for other people and how best to serve others and stuff. I'm thoughtful. But honestly, I hadn't thought of myself in that way before he actually said it and it was then that I thought of this post and how I had to slightly change it XD Then I went to work and stuff and I saw how many other people were being and I decided that maybe I was actually overall "nicer" than I had originally thought I was.
I'd say this though. (Sorry if this is a little over the place) I can be "nice". There is a part of me that it really nice, I'd say. And its not artificial, it comes from a place where I always ask myself stuff like "what would Jesus do". And when I ask myself that, I'm usually quite nice, especially to people that I don't know XD Cause, ya know, I wanna make a good impression. I'd much rather be known as nice than a bitch. But I can be bitchy too. Don't get me wrong, but I'm more likely to be nice when I meet people for the first time. But aren't we all? Don't we all want to get off on the best foot? I'd say then, that the more one gets to know me, the more... sort of... sassy I can get. And not like bad sassy, but just, I'll say whats really on my mind and I'll be honest but I won't be.. as timid? Like, you know when you say something to a group of people you don't know, and you're honest but you're also sorta hesitant? Like that... sorta. Anyway, its not like I change once you get to know me, but I'm just more open and more fun than just strictly nice. If you get what I mean.
So yeah, I'm hoping that this is making sense XD Have I said all that I want to say? Uhhhhh... So overall, I guess originally I was gonna be a little more... negative about myself. I was comparing myself to these "nice girls" on the internet and just thinking "wow, I am soooo not that nice". But, now I realize there isn't anything actually bad with that, cause even though I'm not a "nice girl" and exuding cream and sugar all the time, I still do my best to be a good Christian and to treat people with respect and to do the Godly thing. If I happen to be nice, then that's a plus. I just hope I'm never rude. I don't want to be rude, but I still want to be honest and say what's right. Ya'll feel me? XD
So yeah, I guess to sum it up, I'm not a straight up "nice girl" but I am pretty thoughtful and I shouldn't think the worst of myself. And neither should you! Be honest with yourself and how you treat others and maybe if you're curious ask your friends to describe you or something. And I guess that you don't have to be a "nice girl/boy" to do nice things. Ya know. But if you are a nice person, like truly nice all the time, stay that way! We need more people like you to exude niceness! Cause I for one want to be nicer. But I still wanna be at least a little sassy ;)

Things I Just Can't Respect (Mostly while driving)

So, I was driving today, like I do most days XD and I saw a car, actually I saw many cars, run red lights. *major sigh* Like. I can't even explain how... irritating to me it is when I see people purposely run red lights. And that's just one of the many things I can't respect about people, especially in people's driving. It just boggles my mind that people have such a disreguard for human life and safety and the rules. Like, honestly, I can understand going 5, even like 15 miles an hour over the speed limit, depending on where you are and what the speed limit is. Like, its pretty normal for people to go like 75 when the speed limit is 60 or 65. I can even see 80, cause I've gone 80... many times XD and on the freeway I don't think its that big of a deal, as long as you dont get angry when you're not going that fast. But I don't think you should be going like 40 in a 25 zone. Ya know, the more I write about speeding... the more I realize how much I do it... which is... still technically breaking the law... but I swear I don't like speed unnecessarily dangerous. I hate when people speed to show off, or seem to race in the streets. Now a days there are so many cars on the road and especially at rush hour and stuff, that I just shake my head and stuff when I see people with those super loud and fast cars just revving it up and speeding when there is literally a stop light like 200 feet away. See, that;s another thing I don't understand, when people speed up so much, only to be stopped at a red light. Like seriously? At least think of your gas!
But more on the note of running red lights on purpose (I mostly see it at commute hours, and are there any cops around? No -_- ) I come from a family that -- well really its just my dad, he races and he knows about cars and how to drive and all that. He's not professional, but he still knows  whats up and all that. So, I've developed the same sense of sorta racing and stuff, but what I value most about cars and driving is good handling. There is this road that I like to drive and its just dubbed "the hills" because instead of going the freeway, you can go this road but its very twisty and turn-y and has lots of ups and downs and stuff. Its also a pretty small two lane road. Its not, like, super small, its been widened over the years but its still pretty tight in some spots. Anyway, the thing I hate the most about drivers on this road is when they cross the double yellow line and deviate into the oncoming traffic lane, and they only do it to save a spit second on a turn. I just really hate when people do that. Like. Its not a super busy road, usually, at least not in both directions, but there are still many cars that drive it, and a collision on a tiny road like that is basically going to be devastating. And since there are many, many turns and blind corners, if there is an accident and cars are coming, there may not be a lot of time to react and stop and get to a safe place. So, ugh, I just really hate that. Plus, I know that if they were capable drivers, they'd be able to handle the car to drive in the lane. I do. XD No, but seriously, its really irritates me and I wish I could give all these drivers a talking to. I'd rather be stuck behind a slow car than have the possibility of getting into an accident because people can't drive in their freaking lane. *sigh*  But, I do hate super slow drivers that also don't pull over when there is a turnout. Like... If there are a million cars behind you and no one in front of you and you're going what seem to be a speed that's irritating people, pull over! Now, I try to be a lot more cool that I used to be, and just take my time and stuff, but I used to get so annoyed. And its not that there aren't places for them to pullover , I just think they are being rude and not letting people get on with their lives. Like, I've been behind people that I can tell are just rude and deeply inconsiderate, and still cross the double yellow line! And its just... painful for me. Just. Ugh.
It also dawns on me that I've written quite a bit about... not that much XD So, I might make another one of these and not focus so much on driving. But honestly, there are sooooo many stupid and rude and inconsiderate drivers out there and I  pray every time I get in the car for God to keep me safe and everyone around me safe, cause, its really dangerous. Most of the time, things are ok, but it only take one car, on driver to make even the smallest mistake and cause a big accident that blocks the road for hours. Yeah... So for anyone that hasn't started driving yet, I implore you, please, be sensible and don't be under the influence or distracted. But also, when people irritate you when you drive, make sure you don't do those same things. I don't want to sound so upity and pretentious but I don't do the things that I get really irritated about. Because if I get irritated, that means others do to and I don't want to irritate others. Yeah, so just be careful when you drive and be safe and pray. I've been a couple accident, none of the that bad, just little fender benders mostly, but its still expensive and can be a real hassle, and they can be a lot worse than just a fender bender. So don't risk it! Don't! Ok, well, I'll say tootles for the night and watch the rest of the Olympics broadcast XD

The Olympics are cool

I'm watching the Olympics right now, its kind of a nightly thing... or whenever I'm home and they are on XD its like all I watch. And at night, I have to watch like everything! Like, I need to watch it till the broadcast is over, which is basically midnight XD and on Sunday, cause I didn't have to work, I watched it all day! Besides church and Bible study of course ^_^ But I'm just addicted to watching the Olympics XD But, I mean, there are worse things to be addicted to.
Its commercials now but they ain't gonna last long. And I started classes again. But I'm just taking fun PE classes, tennis and weight training and welding. So yeah-- Simone is on BEAM! Must pay attention! Ok, so she's very, very, very, very good! She made a mistake and touched the beam but I don't think its as much deduction to touch the beam as it is to actually fall off. Anyway, when she was doing the All Around competition and she was on floor she literally STUCK like every landing! I was so impressed! Ally Raisman also stuck every landing, but something about Simon made it look like it stuck more. I dunno XD
The weird thing that always makes me laugh though, is when both the mens and the womens do floor, I laugh when the do that little hop to get to the corner XD I dunno why but it always makes me chuckle. And this girl from... The Netherlands or something did a very beautiful routine.
Where am I going with this? Well mostly I just wanted to write something, but i was kind of doubtful that I'd be able to put something cohesive together while watching. Its short, but so far ok XD
Oh! I love when the athletes that are Christian and stuff, well, I assume the are, pray before and after their competition, like on screen, and when they mention their faith when they get interviewed. I just really appreciate that :) One of my favs was Michelle Carter who won the women's Shot Put. I dunno, I liked her from the get go, plus she loves Jesus!
Omg, the tiniest gurl from Brazil just went and wow! She's only 4'5" :O And to think that Hobbits are litterally tinier that that. Hobbits are more like 3'5" XD I'm probably the only one that would connect those things like that, the Olympics to Lord of the Rings XD
I'm really happy for that Netherlands girl, though, the commentators said that Netherlands hasn't won a medal (in gymnastics?) since like 1923 or something. Woah! As much as I want USA to win like verything, you still gotta love the "underdogs" XD
Now... its diving... and I must say, or question rather, why are the men's diving suits so tiny?? Like sooooo tiny!! Now, I love good looking guys, but honestly, I'd rather they had... larger swim suits -_- And the gymnastic suits are really... very retro... I get that its so hi cut for mobility, but I gotta wonder if they ever have mishaps ya know. And the volley ball... they can wear some tiny bikinis too and some of those ladies are... well endowed and I wonder if anything is gonna pop out 0_o Like... I'm not a super conservative dresser, but I just don't really care to see as much, from both genders, as what is put out there sometimes. -_-
Anyway, hopefully I can get to writing something more... well more next time. I have ideas and things I want to touch on, but I can't concentrate when I watch the Olympics and i bookend all my days watching them XD
So, for now, toodles! ^_^ Hope you're having a great day/night and remember God loves you!

Catch up! Books, AC and The Oympics

I'm listening to another video... as I write this... which probably means that this is gonna sound... distracted... Whoops! But Ugh, I have figured out that now I'm one of those people that spends all their time on their phone. Like... I know, I'm bad. I'm usually on YT, though. I just watch YouTube videos, especially movie news podcasts and stuff. I don't have any type of social media stuff, except this and a YT account so... yeah. But what that means is that I spend less time on my computer, which means that I spend less time on here! :O Dun dun dun! But, I want to intentionally spend more time on this blogger thing, because I've been having ideas and writing stuffs, but since I rarely open my computer anymore I just... don't... Ah! Forgive me O... people who read this XD
So what else did I want to say. I'm reading this book, "The Hunter Moon" by O.R. Melling (I think) and... I haven't gotten very far in, but whenever I read books, and for some reason it happens more when I read then when I watch movies, I think about how I would be in the same situations as the characters. And usually, I'd just be more sassy, sarcastic and confident. And not as trusting about strangers. Cause seriously, these girls in all these adventure books and stuff trust these random (but good looking) strangers and they get themselves in trouble. -_- Like, seriously. I'd be sooooooo much more skeptical and warry. And I'd just super pray for God's judgement and direction if something every did happen. XD What unique, so far, about this story though is that so far the girl is alone. Well, along the way people have helped her, but I feel like usually in adventure stories, its like a group of people that have to stick together and save the day and all that. Anyway, yeah. But I'm also reading two kids books XD Deltora Quest, which I read way back in like 5th grade and The Chronicles of Narnia. Hopefully I can finish all them soon. I haven't actually been reading a lot these past couple years, but I want to get back into reading. I really miss it. So if anyone had any books recommendations, throw em my way! I like Sci-Fi/Adventure/Fantasy types the best, but I mean, I just wanna read a good story in the end :)
Oh yeah, our AC is sorta out... I'm sweaty right now... Did I mention that I don't like hot weather? I'd Love to live in a place where its cold but sunny. Sorta like fall or winter weather all the time... but not rainy... I don't mind rain, but I like it cold and sunny with a nice blue sky and fluffy clouds that bets :) Oh! And low humidity! The humidity kills me. Like, oh my gosh, I just can't take humidity like... over 40 ish. I can even feel it when its like... 30 percent versus 25. Like Ugh. I kinda want to move more to the coast or something. I'm pretty close to it, though, but we got a lot of micro climates and stuff where I live. You go a few miles and its 15 mph more of wind and 20 degrees colder XD I exaggerate, but one thing I do like about where I live is the breeze. It keeps its cooler ^_^
What else... Oh! The Olympics! I really like the Olympics. I'm a big sport person, well, like, I like playing sports so its just fun to see people doing what I also like to do and stuff. And of course, love when USA wins XD but honestly, I just want the best person to win. The one who really worked hard, no using drugs they shouldn't have and all that, so I just pray for people to be honest and so their best and hopefully win a medal :) My fav sports are gymnastics though. I used to love that as a kid. Swimming is cool too, but I think we only care so much cause of Micahel Phelps. I also like volleyball and indoor cycling. That stuff is fascinating to watch, I think. And then track and field. I wanted to to track and field in High School... but my HS was really small and so the closest thing was soccer, cause I like to run XD But my dad did track and field when he was younger and so I wanted to, but alas, was never able to. That's ok though. ^_^
Well, I think that's about it for now. I'll try to write other stuff soon! Until then, toodles! :D
